| Thank you for coming along to my opening yesterday. I was so happy to get lots of nice comments about my work and warm hugs. Apparently over 100 people were there. At the demonstration, I showed a few different styles of the Japanese character for 'Path' with using different tones, brushes and rythm. Also painted happy birds on the plum tree with lots of blossoms which I just saw in the morning in my next door's yard when I was making my coffee. Here is an article about the opening. | I would love to announce about my upcoming solo exhibition. I am so excited but will be busy until then. I will exhibit about 20 new paintings. Venue KAZARI COLLETCOR, 450 Malvern Rd, Prahran Opening 11th September 2010, Saturday, 3pm - 5pm Demonstration 2:30pm - 3pm on the same day  Everyone is welcome. | It's getting cold here. I have got better heating systems this year for my baby (for me, too). Since I had him, I do things a lot more efficiently to manage all orders, emailing, teaching and seeing my friends as well as looking after him which is important for me. This week, I was working on a few commition work and one of them was designing 'Green Tea Ice Cream' with my brush. It will be used on the ice cream's package and I had to provide a few different designs to the package design company. English alphabet goes left to right, not top to bottom like Japanese, so it was interesting for me. I will upload the final design image as soon as it's done. Have a lovely long weekend :) |

| It's a bit late to say but happy new year to everyone! I hope 2010 will bring you lots of new experience and happiness. I have got a personal wonderful news already this year - just had my first baby on 19th January 11:28am. It is a boy and his name is Kazuki. 'Kazu' means harmony and 'Ki' is shining light in Japanese. He is really calm and absolutely beautiful... I need to have a good rest first but I can't wait to paint new work with him sleeping next me in my room :) |
